According to the Alameda County Coroner, a Livermore California man who was struck last month by a woman motorist while crossing Telegraph Avenue near Blake Street and thrown 45 feet, sustained serious head injuries, died last Thursday. The negligent driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired, according to the Berkeley PD. The charges stemming from this wrongful death may change now that this pedestrian has died. This is yet another example of how pedestrians are in danger even when they are in the crosswalk. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the pedestrian.
